D&L become a 4-peice!

It's been awhile since we last updated this section of the website, and a lot has been happening in our world.  The big news is that Dan and Leland has officially become a four-peice band.  We're delighted and proud to introduce Clayton Boek on bass and Matt Steele on drums!  We debuted the new band at Molly Malone's in L.A. last month, and the guys killed to a packed house.  Matt and Clayton wil be posting updates alongside us at twitter.com/danandleland and facebook.com/danandleland.

As a special treat to commemorate this new website going live, we're releasing a brand new single on iTunes! "Nothing Will Ever Be the Same" was written for consideration for The Vampire Diaries. They didn¹t end up using it, but we liked the song so much we thought we'd give you all the chance to hear it, enjoy!

We head in to the studio with the incredibly talented Nate Morton tomorrow AM to track the rest of the drums for our next album. We finally finished writing (it took over a year!) and can¹t wait to dive in to finishing the rest of the tracks.

We¹ve been logging some massive studio hours in the past week, Sharal at B-C has been throwing us a ton of opportunities, and we¹ve been writing and recording almost every night until the wee hours at Dan¹s studio in Corona. We hope to share some of the results with you all soon!

We signed an Administrative Publishing deal with Benair-Churchill today, and couldn¹t be happier! They are an aggressive, innovative company that will be representing our music for use in film and TV (and many other things), as well as commissioning us to write new material for specific opportunities. We¹re so happy to have finally found a home for our publishing, and to find such a great fit, we expect good things to come!
